What is a signpost? A signpost is a trend, a theory, a body of literature, a hypothesis, a meme, a constant, a law, or an observation that marks the direction of a society. In some cases, someone else may have already seen a need for the sign, painted the sign, put the sign together, staked the sign into the ground, and complained about the sign to the municipal government, so I’m here to comment on those signposts and maybe put my name on a few of them. Hence: Post-signing.
